Our Story
Every great business begins with a purpose.
We started eThobe.com after seeing how hard it is for Muslims to find traditional Middle Eastern thobes in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.
For many Muslim men, a thobe is more than clothing. It represents faith, identity, dignity and cultural heritage. Whether for daily prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, Eid celebrations or gatherings with family and friends, wearing a thobe is a meaningful part of life.
We wanted to make it easier for people to find the traditional garments they love, wherever they live. That purpose still guides everything we do: thobes, bishts and ihram, along with the shemagh, kufi and essentials that complete the look.

A Saudi collar sits differently from an Emirati one; a Kuwaiti sleeve isn't cut the way a Qatari one is. Each style follows the pattern it's actually named for.

Summer pieces are light, breathable cotton built for heat. Winter pieces run heavier and closer to insulated — sold as separate lines, not one fabric for every month.

Where is eThobe based?

Where are eThobe thobes made?
Our thobes are made in Pakistan by skilled artisans with years of experience in Middle Eastern tailoring, in styles inspired by Saudi, Emirati, Kuwaiti and Qatari traditions.
What's the difference between a thobe, a kandura and a dishdasha?
They're names for the same family of ankle-length garment worn across the Gulf. "Thobe" is the general term, "kandura" is used in the UAE, and "dishdasha" is common in Kuwait and Oman. The real differences are in the collar, cuffs and fit, which is why we sell each regional thobe as its own style.
Do you ship outside the United States?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Standard shipping generally takes 14–15 business days plus 3–4 days of handling, and express shipping to the US takes about 8–10 business days plus 2–3 days of handling. Customs duties or local taxes are paid by the customer. See our shipping policy.
How do I choose the right size?
Choose by height first, then check your chest against the chart; if your chest is larger than listed, go up one size. Our size guide covers thobes, bishts, vests and kids' sizes, or email your measurements to support@ethobe.com for a recommendation.
Do you make thobes for boys and children?
Yes. Our boys thobes and children's thobes cover ages 2–13, and a kids bisht completes the look for Eid or a family wedding.
What if I'm taller than size 66?
If you're taller than 195 cm or your chest is well above the size 66 figure, email support@ethobe.com with your measurements to ask whether custom tailoring is available for your order.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Eligible unworn, unwashed items in original packaging can be returned with prior approval from our team. Custom-made pieces can't be returned for change of mind, but we'll make it right if an item is defective, damaged or made incorrectly. Read the full refund policy.
